Non hai nada m\u00e1is frecuente, m\u00e1is constante, m\u00e1is presente nas nosas vidas que a fame \u2014e, ao mesmo tempo, para a maior\u00eda de n\u00f3s, nada m\u00e1is lonxe que a fame verdadeira\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u201cNada influ\u00edu m\u00e1is na historia da humanidade. Ningunha enfermidade, ningunha guerra matou m\u00e1is xente. A\u00ednda, ningunha praga \u00e9 tan letal e, ao mesmo tempo, tan evitable como a fame\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Aproximadamente 811 mill\u00f3ns de persoas en todo o mundo sufriron fame no 2020, 161 mill\u00f3ns m\u00e1is que o ano anterior, o que afasta o Obxectivo de Desenvolvemento Sostible ( ODS) de acabar coa fame para 2030, segundo o \u00faltimo Informe anual sobre o Estado da Seguridade Alimentaria e a Nutrici\u00f3n no mundo. Esas cifras son desacougantes. Pero hai m\u00e1is. Nese mesmo exercicio, por exemplo, 2.370 mill\u00f3ns de persoas non tiveron acceso a comida decente.<\/p>\n

Segundo diversas fontes e informes, a d\u00eda 15 de marzo de 2022 a poboaci\u00f3n mundial alcanzou os 7.993 mill\u00f3ns<\/strong> de persoas. A FAO, nos seus informes, asegura que producimos alimentos para 12.000 mill\u00f3ns<\/strong>. A combinaci\u00f3n de ambas as cifras leva a unha conclusi\u00f3n tan obvia como sorprendente: neste planeta hai riqueza e recursos suficientes para que ningu\u00e9n quede atr\u00e1s e para que ningu\u00e9n morra de fame.<\/p>\n

Quizais chegou o momento de forzar o cambio nas formas de produci\u00f3n e de consumo. Non podemos seguir emitindo gases de efecto invernadoiro e non podemos esperar a que as \u201cCumes -pantomima- do Clima\u201d adopten compromisos que nacen mortos. O cambio nunca suceder\u00e1 sen a presi\u00f3n da cidadan\u00eda, \u00e9 dicir, sen o protagonismo responsable dos consumidores. Porque, todos sab\u00e9molo: as consecuencias do cambio clim\u00e1tico son o maior perigo para a seguridade alimentaria no mundo.<\/p>\n

Non podemos aceptar que aumente a fame mentres se desperdician m\u00e1is de 1.000 mill\u00f3ns de toneladas de alimentos cada ano. Ou mentres m\u00e1is de 2.000 mill\u00f3ns de homes, mulleres e nenos sofren sobrepeso ou obesidade por ter que alimentarse con comida pouco saudable, aumentando as\u00ed o perigo de enfermidade e morte.<\/p>\n

Con estes datos as preguntas parecen obvias: que facemos mal? que nos est\u00e1 pasando? Por que non somos capaces de erradicar a fame, a pobreza e a desigualdade?<\/p>\n

Os que non pasamos fame asumimos como inevitables a desigualdade e a pobreza. Normaliz\u00e1molas. Estamos tan afeitos \u00e1 visualizaci\u00f3n do horror, a\u00ednda que ocorra preto de n\u00f3s, que xa non nos mobiliza. A sobre-exposici\u00f3n tan excesiva \u00e1s imaxes, \u00e1 informaci\u00f3n e \u2013por riba diso- \u00e1 desinformaci\u00f3n, ab\u00f3canos a un pernicioso efecto: a incapacidade de distinguir a realidade da ficci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

E ese \u00e9, precisamente, o campo de actuaci\u00f3n do Movemento Acampa pola Paz e o Dereito a Refuxio<\/strong>,<\/span> a raz\u00f3n de ser desta rede. Convoc\u00e1monos para reflexionar, para entender, para buscar soluci\u00f3ns, ou ao menos, para facernos as preguntas pertinentes a\u00ednda que non sempre alcancemos as respostas. Ou cando o que ouvimos non nos guste. E fac\u00e9molo escoitando a aqueles que traballan a p\u00e9 de terreo, ou aos que miran eses escenarios inc\u00f3modos para descodificarlos e para obrigarnos a ver a realidade descarnada que sempre est\u00e1 m\u00e1is preto do que pensamos. En Acampa <\/strong><\/span>cremos que a cidadan\u00eda ten a capacidade e os resortes para o cambio. Que a sociedade no seu conxunto \u00e9 a \u00fanica capaz de corrixir esta deriva mortal da especie fronte aos Estados e o capitalismo ao que estes se someten. Seguramente xa non hai marxe para pensar e teorizar en que futuro queremos ter. Pero non \u00e9 tarde, a\u00ednda non, para ter futuro.<\/p>\n
