{"id":52960,"date":"2022-05-03T18:14:14","date_gmt":"2022-05-03T16:14:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/coruna.redeacampa.org\/events\/presentacion-libro-de-patricia-simon-miedo\/"},"modified":"2022-05-03T19:27:35","modified_gmt":"2022-05-03T17:27:35","slug":"presentacion-libro-de-patricia-simon-miedo","status":"publish","type":"ajde_events","link":"https:\/\/coruna.redeacampa.org\/en\/events\/presentacion-libro-de-patricia-simon-miedo\/","title":{"rendered":"Presentation of Patricia Sim\u00f3n&#8217;s book &#8220;MIEDO&#8221;."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Miedo<\/strong> is a book about the fears that have surrounded our lives in recent years, and that Covid-19 have made evident and sharpened, thus accelerating the change of era in which we were already immersed: the crisis of Neoliberalism, climate change, growing inequality, the exodus of migrants and refugees, the robotization of the labor market and the increase in chronic unemployment, rising housing prices, the demographic crisis, social polarization and tension fueled by the algorithms of large technological companies, and the privatization of public services.<\/p>\n<p>The inability of representative democracies to respond to these challenges has ended up turning them into a series of fears that populist and extreme right-wing parties have exploited to impose their agenda and hate speeches.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Presented by:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<div class=\"fila\">\n<div class=\"mitad\">\n<blockquote><p><strong>Javier Gallego Crudo<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-52963 lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/coruna.redeacampa.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Javier_G_Crudo-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"Javier Gallego Crudo\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 300px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 300\/300;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Journalist, musician and poet essay.
