Coordinates the Laboratory of Education and Environmental Policy.

Since the seventies, he has participated in various associations, collectives and networks of environmentalists and environmental education.

He was director of EA at the Brazilian Ministry of the Environment from 2003 to 2008. He is currently carrying out research on EA’s public policies together with the University of A Coruña and CEIDA.
